"Octagonal" mosque (Gabala) - The mosque is located in the city of Gabala. The construction date belongs to end of the eighteenth century. Gabala city "Octagonal" mosque has an octagonal shape, and it was built with cobblestone and baked brick. The roof of mosque was decorated with red tiles. The entrance door is wooden and it has rectangular shape. There is an arch-shaped window in every corner of the mosque. The porch is located in front of the entrance door. The porch is placed on 8 pieces of iron columns. The mosque was used as a cheese factory in Soviet times. The mosque was repaired by the Restoration Department of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan Republic in 1985-1986 and given to believers.
