According to him, key parameters on creation of digital platform were presented in the Memorandum of Understanding signed with Kazakhstan’s Kuryk and Aktau ports in Tbilisi: "We offered them the e-exchange of data and unity of digital platforms. Heads of both ports accepted our proposal"

Ziyadov noted that the works with Turkmenistan’s Turkmenbashi port in this regard are being carried out and are almost complete: "One of the agreements signed as part of Azerbaijani President’s visit to Turkmenistan last year was related to creation of such platforms. It’s expected to carry out exchange of data with Turkmenbashi port in 2020."

He noted that the Silk Road of the 21th century will be digital: "We are working to ensure the quicker exchange of information between ports. This will contribute to China-Europe connection."

Digitalization of Baku International Sea Trade Port started three years ago and main works have already been done: "E-exchange of information among the ports will increase the effectiveness of the operations."
