Seven Azerbaijani universities are among the best universities of Eastern Europe for 2018/19, Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), British company specializing in education says.
The rating included Baku State University, Khazar University, Azerbaijan State Economic University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, ADA University, Azerbaijan University of Languages and Baku Slavic University.
The best position in the ranking among Azerbaijani universities was taken by the Baku State University - 142 place for 2019. The rest ranked above two hundred.
Notably, the ranking of the best universities in Europe and Central Asia is led by two Russian universities, the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Novosibirsk State University.
