Budapest, Hungary has hosted the International Judo Federation (IJF) Congress on August 25.
The congress was attended by heads of all national member federations of the international judo organization and famous sports figures.
Firstly, IJF President Marius Vizer made a speech and emphasized importance of the recent works and significant events. Then, Secretary-General of the International Judo Federation Jean-Luc Rougé conveyed the last four-year report to the participants of the congress.
The voting was held open as M. Vizer was the sole candidate for the next four-year term presidency and he unanimously re-elected the IJF president.
Then, the elections were held to determine new composition of the Executive Committee for the next four years. President of Azerbaijan Judo Federation Rovnag Abdullayev was elected a member of the IJF Executive Committee.
