The sanctuary of Hasan – the Sanctuary is located in Baku – in Mardakan. The monument consists of a corridor and the mausoleum. The monument area is about 3,5х3,5 meters, the height – 3,5 meters. On an entrance door two stone inscriptions, one of which was erased, are engraved. The mausoleum has the form of four arches. All sides of the tomb are covered by marble. Arches incorporate to a ceiling. In spite of the fact that restoration works were carried out for the monument, it has kept the initial form. At the moment civil work are carried out here – praying room, kitchen and rooms for visitors are under construction. The monument belongs to XV century. According to local residents, Hasan, whose name is given to the sanctuary, was seid and was buried here.
