A few tombs rise in the graveyard of Hezre village which is located in 16 km from Gabala city in the bottom of the Big Caucasus. Thick forest is surrounding this graveyard. Besides the tombs, there are graves of notable representatives of local feudal layer buried in the graveyard. There are grave stones and written stone boxes with much different complex flower and geometrical pattern ornaments. There is an opinion expressed of this monument’s date which approximately is XV-XVI centuries. But in the time of archaeological excavations taken place around the tomb, graves related to approximately XII-XIII centuries had been found.

The tombs were built from natural white stone brought from afar; they were constructed in octagon form; they have been covered with eight side tent-form covers. Surfaces of the buildings are completely smooth. Only the upper, around and side parts of the entrance have been adorned with architecture ornament what form the basic part of the construction. The doors of the monuments are arched.

One of the tombs from this group of tombs remained safe; the others were injured from different parts. There are half destroyed tombs too. But in spite of the disintegration, the tombs had kept previous appearances. Because of rich forests around, dampness and harmful influence of trees and bushes, the stones of the monuments, ancient graves in the surroundings, especially face stones of their covers have been damaged most of all.

These monuments have been constructed in the graveyard in an interesting order. So, the entrance of one tomb is directed to south-west, and others look towards the north-west. If an arrow is drawn from these entrance points, it will be completed in the entrance of the first tomb.

It is possible to arrive at such conclusion that the tombs have been built with architecture adroitness on the basis of a well thought-out unique project. Other interesting peculiarities are that there are no platforms of the tombs, except one tomb; this one had been built on a low platform consisted of three stones. There are no mausoleums in the tombs. According to the inscription in one of the tombs, it was named "Sheikh Mensur" tomb.

There is a three-line marked Arabic inscription placed on a joint arched door of the tomb which says: «... This is the grave of merciful Hezre sheikh Mansur built in time of Great Khakan, magnificent Sultan Sheikh Ibrahim – high Allah would make his supremacy eternal...” Date was not showed in the inscription, but the name of Shirvanshah Sheikh I Ibrahim (1382-1417) is mentioned here and therefore, it is possible to determine that the tomb had been built at the end of XIV century or at the beginning of XV century. The second monument with writing in it was named Bedreddin’s Tomb according to the name of sheikh mentioned in the inscription. There are two inscriptions in the Tomb. It has been written in the first inscription that the tomb belonged to Sheikh-Rebbani Sheikh Bedreddin Sheikh Shemseddin’s son and the sheikh died in 850 according to Hegira chronology and in 1446-47 according to Christian chronology. On the other inscription placed above the first inscription on a stone in the right side it had been written: "The work of Yusif the master Zehir’s son...” There are names of two masters given in the inscription.

One more building inscription was found in the time of restoration work of tombs recently; it was put back to its place on the wall anew. It had been written in the two-line inscription that the tomb was built in the time of ruling Sultan’s son Sultan Abumuzeffer Shah Tehmasib on the light grave of munevver sheikh Sheikh Mehemmed ibn Sheikh Barik in 970th year of Hegira (1562-63).
