Ashaghi Aragit Mosque – is located in Aragit quarter of Lahij settlement of Ismailly region. Its foundation was laid in 1843.
In spite of being ancient, the Mosque is in a very good state. However, since there are many Mosques in the settlement, this Mosque is not functioning. The Mosque has no minaret and cupola. The minaret was destroyed in Soviet times. The cupola is also in ruined state. As in other Mosques, there are stone inscriptions in this Mosque too.
The Mosque building had been used as a carpet manufactory in Soviet times.
